Overview

Edit an existing SKU template and update it with the entered data.

Purpose

The primary purpose of making SKU templates editable is to update the SKU template settings under operational rules, thereby standardizing operations and preventing dependency on specific individuals.

In addition, by performing update operations in accordance with the constraints based on the SKU template status, it helps reduce mistakes and prevent erroneous operations.

SKU Template Editing Function

This feature allows you to edit created SKU templates.

The button display, editable items, and behavior during updates vary depending on whether the SKU template status is Draft or Active.

Button Display, Editable Items, and Update Behavior by Status

Operate according to the status of the target SKU template on the "Products menu > Product Attributes > SKU Templates tab.

Instructions

Moving to the SKU Template Editing Screen

1. Click the Products menu.

2. Click Product Attributes.
   The page transitions to "Product Attribute Settings."

3. Click the SKU Templates tab.

4. Click the Edit button or the Updating PDF Setting button for the SKU template you wish to edit.
   Whichever button is clicked, the "Edit a SKU Template" modal will be displayed.

   • If the SKU template status is Draft: The Edit button is displayed.
   • If the SKU template status is Active: The Updating PDF Setting button is displayed.

How to Enter the Form

Edit the input form as necessary.

Items Editable in Draft Status

1. SKU Template No.
   Enter any string.

   The "SKU Template No." is also used as the display name of the SKU template.
   Please enter a string that does not duplicate other existing SKU templates.

2. SKU Properties
   Select the SKU properties to be set in the SKU template by checking them.

   SKU properties are the attribute masters used to define the attributes (e.g., Color) that compose a SKU in "Product Management."
   In a SKU template, you can define properties in a hierarchical structure.

   Example: If you set Color as the first-level property and Size as the second-level property, variations can be registered with SKUs having a composition of Color-Size during product creation.

3. SKU property column swapping settings
   You can swap the display contents of the SKU Property 1 column and SKU Property 2 column on the PDF.
   To swap them, check the box to enable it.

   SKU property column swapping settings are only possible for SKU templates where SKU properties are specified in "2 levels."

4. SKU Property Symbol
   Select the SKU property to be treated as a symbol from the dropdown.
   For the SKU property selected as a symbol, you can register and display thumbnail images and color chips.

5. Reorder SKU Properties
   You can reorder the hierarchy of SKU properties by dragging and dropping.

Items Editable in Active Status

In Active status, only the SKU property column swapping settings can be edited.

You can swap the display contents of the SKU Property 1 column and SKU Property 2 column on the PDF.
To swap them, check the box to enable it.

SKU property column swapping settings are only possible for SKU templates where SKU properties are specified in "2 levels."

Update / Save as Draft the SKU Template

After entering each item in the form, click the Update button or the Save as Draft button.

• Update: Updates the SKU template in an Active state. It will then be available for application during product creation.
• Save as Draft:
  The button is displayed when the SKU template being edited is in a Draft state.
  Saves the SKU template in a Draft state. SKU templates in Draft state cannot be used for product registration.

Note that once a SKU template has been updated to Active, it cannot be edited, so please check the entered content thoroughly before clicking the Update button.

Important Notes

SKU Template No. Cannot be Duplicated

Even when editing, enter a unique string for the "SKU Template No." that does not duplicate other existing SKU templates.

SKU Templates That Have Become Active Cannot be Edited

Once a SKU template has entered an Active state, basic items cannot be edited. (Only Updating PDF Setting is possible)
Please check the entered content thoroughly before clicking the Update button.

Note that SKU templates in a Draft state can be edited but cannot be applied to products.
