Create Tags

Overview

You can create new tags using the Tag Management feature.

Purpose

The tag creation feature is used for the following purposes:

  • Cross-data organization and search: Labeling with tags makes it easier to classify, search, and group data across different types.
  • Internal operational memos and classification (Control Tag): Control tags are not displayed on the buyer screen and can be used for internal classification or operational memos.
  • Improved searchability in the buyer app (Public Tag): Public tags are visible to buyers and can be used for searching, filtering, and badge displays.
  • Clarification of association targets: Tags can be created for each data type, such as "Customer Buyer" or "Catalog","Order".
  • Improved visibility with color settings: You can optionally set a tag color, making it easier to distinguish in lists and detail screens.

Feature Description

What is a Tag

A Tag is a master data for labeling various data such as Customer Buyers, Catalogs, and Orders.

Tags are not used alone, but can be utilized by applying them to data corresponding to the Target Data Type of the created tag.
Data associated with tags can be search by tag.

Target Data Type of Tags

When creating a tag, specify the Target Data Type to associate the tag with.

You can select the Target Data Type from the following:

  • Customer Buyer
  • Catalog
  • Order
  • Delivery Note
  • Goods Return Note
  • Billing Invoice
  • Credit Note
  • Payment Confirmation

Control Tag and Public Tag

You can create "Control Tag" and "Public Tag".

  • Control Tag: Not visible to buyers. For internal classification and operational notes.
  • Public Tag: Visible to buyers. Used primarily for searching and filtering buyer-facing content (e.g., catalogs) and displayed as badges.

Currently, "Public Tag" can only be created for "Target Data Type: Catalog".
For all other Target Data Types, only "Control Tag" can be created.
