Start a Paid Subscription from a Free Trial

Overview

This operation allows you to transition from a free trial to a paid subscription contract and continue using the DEXTRE Merchant App.

The merchant environment used during the trial is preserved, and you can resume use immediately after the transition procedure is completed.

Purpose

To continue using the DEXTRE Merchant App after the free trial ends, you will transition to a paid contract by setting the contract plan, payment method, and billing information.

By completing the procedure after confirming the contract terms and various important matters, you can transition to a paid contract while understanding the detailed contract details.

Feature Description

This feature allows you to transition to a paid subscription contract while maintaining the merchant environment from the free trial.

The contract is finalized after setting the contract plan, the number of additional brands, payment method, and billing information.

Eligibility for Transition and Conditions for Contract Conclusion

When transitioning from a free trial to a paid subscription contract, the merchant environment during the trial is inherited as is.

Only members with Primary Owner or Owner permissions can perform the contract procedure.

To complete the contract procedure, agreement to all of the following is required:

  • Terms of Service
  • Important Information Regarding the Subscription Agreement
  • Important Information Regarding Cancellation

Contract Plans and Payment Methods

For the contract plan, select any plan from the following:

  • Monthly plan (monthly payment): ¥25,000/month (excluding tax)
  • Half-year plan (half-yearly payment): ¥22,500/month (excluding tax)
  • Annual plan (annual payment): ¥20,000/month (excluding tax)

For the payment method, specify one of the following:

  • Bank Transfer: An invoice will be issued after the contract is completed, and payment is made by the payment deadline.
  • Credit Card Payment: Register credit card information to make payments.

Concept of Brand Slots

The number of brands available in the basic plan is a maximum of 2.

If you wish to use 3 or more brands, specify the Number of Additional Brands to expand the available number.

An optional fee of 10,000 yen/month per brand is charged for each additional brand.

A brand is a unit for managing product data, buyer data, order data, etc., on the DEXTRE Merchant App.

It is possible to operate physical brands and system brands on a 1-to-1 basis, or to operate multiple physical brands as a single system brand.

Instructions

Navigating to the Plan Contract Screen

  1. Click Maker Settings > Open Maker Settings.
  2. Click Subscription.
  3. Click the Plan tab.
    *It is opened by default.
  4. Click Start Paid Subscription.
    You will be redirected to the "New Contract" page.

How to Fill Out the Form

Selecting a Plan

  1. Click the Select button for the desired plan.
    You will be redirected to the "Input Subscription Information" screen.

Confirming the Plan and Entering Contract Information

  1. Selected Plan
    Confirm the selected plan.

    To change the plan, click Change the selected plan and select a plan again.

  2. Brands Quota
    Confirm the number of available brands and set the number of brands to add as needed.

    • Number of Available Brands Included in the Plan: The number of brands included in the plan. This cannot be edited.
    • Number of Additional Brands: You can add brands not included in the plan. Enter the value for the additional amount.
  3. Payment Method
    Select the payment method from the following dropdown:

    • Bank Transfer
    • Credit Card Payment

    When selecting credit card payment, enter the following card information from Set a New Credit Card and register the card information with the Register button.

    • Credit Card: Enter the 16-digit card number.
    • Expiration: Enter the expiration date in the MM/YY format.
    • CVC: Enter the 3-4 digit security code listed on the credit card.
  4. Billing Information
    Enter the following address information:

    • Country (Required)
      • Select from the dropdown.
    • Zip Code (Required)
    • State (Required)
    • City (Required)
    • Address 1(Required)
    • Address 2 (Optional)
    • Business Name (Required)
    • Address Name (Required)
      • Enter the display name for the address.
      • Example: Head office, branch, etc.
    • Phone Number (Required)
    • Email (Required)
  5. After confirming the entries, click the Next button.

    You will be redirected to the "Preview" screen.

Confirming the Preview and Agreeing to Terms

To complete the contract procedure, it is a mandatory condition to agree to all of the Terms of Service, Important Information Regarding the Subscription Agreement, and Important Information Regarding Cancellation.

  1. In the preview, confirm that there are no errors in the following contract details:

    • Plan
    • Additional Brand
    • Payment
    • Address
  2. Terms of Service
    Click Check the Terms of Service and confirm the content.

    If you agree, check the box for Agree to Terms of Service.

  3. Important Information Regarding the Subscription Agreement
    Click Check the Important Information Regarding the Subscription Agreement and confirm the content.

    If you agree, check the box for Agree to the Important Information Regarding the Subscription Agreement.

  4. Important Information Regarding Cancellation
    Click Check the Important Information Regarding Cancellation and confirm the content.

    If you agree, check the box for Agree to the Important Information Regarding Cancellation.

Completion of Contract Procedure

  1. After confirming the contract details again, click the Contract button.

    If the process is successful, the transition from the free trial to the paid subscription contract is completed.

Important Notes

Lump-sum Billing for Additional Brand Fees

If you add brands exceeding the standard 2-brand limit of the basic plan, an optional fee of 10,000 yen/month per brand will be charged.

Optional fees are not billed monthly but are billed in a lump sum according to the payment cycle of the contract plan.

For example, if you add 3 brands under an annual contract plan, 10,000 yen × 3 brands × 12 months = 360,000 yen will be charged separately from the basic fee.
