Configure Subscription Payment Methods

Overview

This feature allows you to configure payment methods for subscription contracts.

Purpose

Use this to set appropriate payment methods for each category of Base Subscriptions and Add-on Subscriptions, and to maintain operational control over billing processes.

By managing the setting targets for these two categories separately, you can operate while confirming which payment method is applied to which fee.

Categories of Setting Targets

"Subscription contracts" in the DEXTRE Merchant App are broadly divided into two categories.

You can set payment methods for each of the following contract categories:

  • Base Subscription: The basic contract for using the DEXTRE Merchant App. Additional option fees for brand capacity are also included in the Base Subscriptions.
  • Addon Subscription: Optional contracts for extending the functions of the DEXTRE Merchant App. These include additional member capacity, Stripe credit card payment integration, and use of the Merchant API.

Configurable Payment Methods

The following payment methods can be configured:

  • Bank Transfer
  • Credit card payment

Navigating to the Payment Method Settings Screen

  1. Click Maker Settings > Open Maker Settings.
  2. Click Subscription.
  3. Click the Billing Info tab.
  4. Click the Update button for either Payment method for base subscription or Payment Method for Addon Subscription.
    The "Update Merchant Billing Information" modal will open.

How to Fill Out the Form

Select the payment method for the chosen category.

  1. Select one of the following via the radio buttons:

    • Bank Transfer
    • Select registered credit card information
    • Set a New Credit Card
  2. If you select Set a New Credit Card, enter the following information:

    • Credit Card: Enter the 16-digit card number.
    • Expiration: Enter the expiration date in the MM/YY format.
    • CVC: Enter the 3-4 digit security code listed on the credit card.

    After confirming that the input details are correct, click the Register button.

Updating Payment Method Settings

Confirm the input details and click the Update button.

Once the process is successful, the payment method settings will be updated.

Important Notes

Ensure new credit cards are registered

When setting up a new credit card, please be careful not to forget to click the Register button.

If registration is not completed, you cannot set the new credit card as a payment method.

Individual settings for each add-on are not possible

It is not possible to assign individual payment methods per add-on (extension).

For example, you cannot set only the Stripe Credit Card Payment Add-on to credit card payment and the Merchant API Add-on to Bank Transfer.

The payment method set for Add-on Subscriptions is applied commonly to all add-ons.
