Increase or Decrease Member Seat Add-on

Overview

You can increase (add) or decrease (reduce) the number of registerable members according to the scale of your organization.

Purpose

The setting to increase or decrease the member Quota (Update Add-on Subscription) is used for the following purposes:

  • Expansion of quota to match team scale: If you want to invite members beyond the standard Quota (15 members), you can contract additional "units" for the necessary number of people. By flexibly increasing the quota according to project expansion or organization growth, you can prevent business stagnation due to member registration restrictions and maintain a smooth collaboration environment.
  • Optimization of contract details and cost: Reduce surplus additional quota due to project completion or member transfer/retirement. By reviewing the number of contracted units according to the actual number of active members, you can prevent unnecessary costs and keep subscription fees in an appropriate state at all times.

Feature Description

This is a feature to adjust the number of members who can join the maker organization.
You can flexibly increase or decrease the quota at any time according to the scale of the organization.

What is an Add-on Subscription contract?

"Add-on Subscription" is an optional contract that further extends the functions of the basic plan (Base Subscription) and adds functions only as needed for your operation.

Since it is managed separately from DEXTRE's standard functions, it is characterized by the ability to flexibly change the contract details at any time according to the growth of the organization or busy seasons.

Base Subscription

  • Role: Basic plan for using the Maker App
  • Member quota: Up to 15 members available as standard
  • Main purpose: System infrastructure usage

Add-on Subscription

  • Role: Option to extend/add functions
  • Member quota: Contract when you want to use with 16 or more members
  • Main purpose: Increase in number of users, function upgrades, etc.

About increasing/decreasing registerable member quota

If you want to invite 16 or more members, you can increase or decrease the member Quota (units) at any time by contracting "Add-on Subscription".

  • Increase (When you want to increase members):
    By purchasing Quota, you can immediately invite new members.
  • Decrease (When you want to reduce members):
    You can reduce Quota that is no longer needed.

Contract Specifications

  • Additional quota fee: 500 yen / month (tax excluded) per 1 quota (unit)
  • Payment Method: Payment method registered in "Add-on Subscription"
  • Operation Permission: Members with "Primary Owner" or "Owner"
warning

The following points should be noted when reducing quota.

  • Not reduced automatically: Just deleting a member does not reduce the number of units (Quota).
    You must perform the reduction operation yourself.

  • Condition for reduction: You cannot reduce the quota below the current number of registered members (including those being invited).
    Please delete unnecessary members in advance to create free slots before performing the reduction operation.

Instructions

1. Open the member quota contract screen

  1. Click Maker Settings > Open Maker Settings in the header menu.
    Navigate to the "Maker Settings" page.
  2. Click Subscription.
  3. Click the Quota tab.
  4. Click Change Member Quota.
    The "Update Add-on Subscription" modal opens.

2. Set the contract details

  1. Current Plan
    The current contract plan details are displayed. It is not displayed if not contracted.
    *Units: The number displayed next to this is the additional number of units excluding the standard quota (15 slots).

    Example view:
    If displayed as Units: 2 = Current Quota: 17.
    (Standard quota: 15 + Number of Units)

  2. Select A Plan
    Select the radio button of the desired plan.
    When selected, an input field for the number of units appears below it.

  3. Unit Count
    Enter the required number of units.

    Input Example:
    If you want to use with 20 members, enter 5
    (20 members = Standard quota: 15 + Unit count: 5)

    warning

    Please note the following when entering the Unit Count.

    • Enter total value, not increase/decrease: Enter the "final required number of units", not the "number to increase (or decrease)" from the current contract.
    • When reducing: Delete unnecessary members on the "Members" screen in advance to create free slots before operating.
  4. Confirm Payment Method
    Either "Bank Transfer" or "Credit Card" is displayed in Current Payment Method.
    Refers to the payment method currently set as "Payment Method for Addon Subscription".

    If you use a payment method different from "Current Payment Method", click the Edit button to change the payment method.
    Please check Payment Method Change Procedure for the change procedure.

  5. Click the Next button to move to the preview screen.
    The next step is 3. Confirm the contract.

Payment Method Change Procedure

  1. Click the Edit button for Current Payment Method.
    The "Update Merchant Billing Information" modal opens.

  2. Select Payment Method
    Select one of the following payment methods with a radio button.

    • Bank Transfer
    • Credit Card
      • If the target credit card is already registered: Select the credit card to use.
      • If the target credit card is not registered:
        Select "Set a New Credit Card" and register the credit card.
        Please check Credit Card Registration Procedure for the registration procedure.
  3. Click the Update button to update the payment method to use.

Credit Card Registration Procedure

If the credit card to be used as the payment method is not registered, please register it using the following procedure.

  1. Select the radio button for Set a New Credit Card in Payment Method Change Procedure.
  2. Enter the credit card information.
  3. When input is complete, click the Register button to complete registration.

3. Confirm the contract

  1. Confirm Contract Details
    Confirm the contract details from the Preview.

    • New Plan: The number of units (Quota) for the new contract is displayed.
    • Immediate Fee: The prorated amount of the monthly fee billed immediately is displayed.
    • Monthly Fee: The monthly fee billed at the next renewal is displayed.
  2. Confirm Contract
    When confirmation of contract details is complete, click Update Add-on Subscription.
    *If currently not contracted, Create Add-on Subscription is displayed.

    If the process is successful, the contract plan will be updated.
    If an error is displayed, please check the content and try again.

Important Notes

How to calculate the unit count to enter

Enter the numerical value of the "additional portion" excluding the standard quota (15 members) in "Unit Count", not the total number of people you want to use.

  • Calculation method: If you want to use with a total of 20 members 20 members (Desired Total) - 15 members (Standard Quota) = Enter "5"
  • Cost: 500 yen/month (tax excluded) is incurred per 1 unit (1 quota).

About member account deletion and unit reduction

Even if you delete a member account, the number of units does not decrease automatically.
If you want to optimize costs according to the reduction in the number of users, be sure to perform the operation to reduce the "Unit Count" with this function.
Unless you perform the operation, monthly fees according to the number of units will continue to be incurred.

Preparation for reduction (Member organization)

You cannot set the number of units to less than the number of currently registered members.

Delete unnecessary accounts on the "Members" screen in advance, and check that the number of registered members is less than or equal to the quota after change (Standard Quota 15 + Additional portion) before operating.

Confirmation of operation permission

Members who have the authority to operate the add-on subscription contract are limited to "Primary Owner" and "Owner".
*Members with "Member/Admin" or "Member/Write" cannot perform contract operations.

About payment

The fee for the Add-on Subscription is managed separately from the settlement of the basic plan.

  • Payment Method: It is possible to settle with the payment method registered in "Payment Method for Addon Subscription".
  • Renewal Date: The contract is renewed on the 1st of every month. All Add-on Subscription contracts are monthly fee-based.
