Override Transaction Term Rate at Product Level

Overview

In product management within the Merchant App, you can override the transaction term rates (wholesale rates and discount rates) for each buyer for specific products.

Purpose

The main purpose of overriding transaction term rates at the product level is to clearly define exceptional transaction term rates for each product, standardizing operations and preventing dependency on specific individuals.

By setting rates at the product level that differ from the transaction term rates set for the buyer, you can reduce setting omissions and incorrect settings.

Overriding transaction term rates at the product level is a feature that allows you to set transaction term rates for each buyer for specific products.

By performing override settings, you can apply rates at the product level that differ from the transaction term rates set for the buyer itself.

Override settings for guest buyers

Override settings for transaction term rates at the product level can be set not only for existing buyers, but also for guest buyers via Instant Order Links and Dynamic Brand Links.

Types of override settings and application priority

The following types of override settings exist for transaction term rates.

  • Catalog Product level
  • Product level
  • Catalog level

The priority for applying transaction term rates at the time of ordering is as follows.
The smaller the number, the higher the priority.

  1. Catalog Product level (Strongest)
  2. Product level
  3. Catalog level
  4. Buyer or link settings (Weakest)

Instructions

Moving to the product-level transaction term setting screen

  1. Click the Products menu.
  2. Click the Products tab.
    *It is open by default.
  3. From the product list, click the Transaction Term Rate Overrides of the product you want to set.
    You will be redirected to the "Override Transaction Term Rates for Product" page.

How to fill out the form

Overriding transaction term rates for each buyer

Follow these steps to override transaction term rates for existing buyers.

  1. Click the Add Buyer / Bulk Setting of Transaction Conditions button in Set Conditions For Buyers.
    The "Add Buyers / Bulk Setting of Transaction Conditions" modal opens.

  2. In Set Transaction Conditions, check the transaction terms you want to override.

  3. Enter a value for the transaction term rate.
    Enter a value between 0 and 100.

  4. Click the Next button to move to the buyer selection screen.

  5. From the buyer list, enable the checkbox for the buyer you want to set.

    You can narrow down buyers by entering criteria in the Search Buyers.

  6. Click the Select button.
    The selected buyer will be displayed in the Set Conditions For Buyers list.

    You can also correct the wholesale rates and discount rates for the selected buyer on the list screen.

Overriding transaction term rates for guest buyers

Follow these steps to override settings for guest buyers.

  1. In Set Transaction Condition For Guest buyer, check the transaction term rates you want to set.
  2. Enter a value between 0 and 100 for the enabled transaction term rates.

Updating override settings

After confirming the input, click the Update button.

The product-level override settings will be applied.

Important Notes

Product-level override settings are applied uniformly to all catalogs

Product-level override settings are applied uniformly to all catalogs.

If you want to set settings for products within a specific catalog, please perform the override settings at the product level within a catalog.

Guest buyer settings are required for Instant Order Links and Dynamic Brand Links

For orders via Instant Order Links or Dynamic Brand Links, individual buyer override settings cannot be referenced.

If you want to apply settings to orders via the corresponding links, please perform override settings for guest buyers.

Troubleshooting

Override settings are not reflected on the order screen

Check if override settings are applied at the Catalog Product level. If the Catalog Product level is set, it takes priority over the product level.

Also, if it is not reflected in orders via Instant Order Links or Dynamic Brand Links, please perform override settings for guest buyers.
