Overview
This page explains how to activate supplier payables by brand in Inventory Management (New Method).
Purpose
The main purpose of this feature is to start supplier payables management for each brand and centrally manage payables based on receipts and payment information for suppliers.
By managing payable balances together with payment information, you can track the payable balance for each supplier.
Feature Description
What Is Supplier Payables Management?
Supplier payables management is a feature for managing payables based on receipts from suppliers and the payment status of those payables.
By applying payment records to payables, you can manage the payable balance for each supplier.
For information on recording payments, see Record a Supplier Payment.
Receipts Subject to Supplier Payables Management
Receipts created after supplier payables are successfully activated are subject to supplier payables management.
Receipts created before supplier payables activation are not included, even if they are edited or confirmed after activation.
Whether a receipt is subject to supplier payables management is determined when the receipt is created, not when it is confirmed.
For information on creating receipts, see Create a Purchase Receipt from a Supplier.
