Configure Buyer Access for a Limited-Access Catalog
Overview
This feature allows you to grant and revoke buyers' access to catalogs set to "Limited Access".
Purpose
The primary purpose of setting access permissions for Limited-Access Catalogs is to explicitly control the buyers who can view them and to ensure compliance and governance.
By centrally managing buyer access on a catalog-by-catalog basis, you can maintain an appropriate scope of information disclosure.
Feature Description
Prerequisites for Access Permission Settings
Granting or revoking access using this feature is only possible when the catalog's status is set to "Limited Access".
For details on the types of publication status, please refer to "Types of Publication Status" in Create a Catalog.
Granting and Revoking Access
There are two independent functions for setting access permissions: Grant Access and Revoke Access.
These are separate functions and are performed from different screens.
- Grant Access: Performed on the dedicated Grant Access screen.
- Revoke Access: Performed on the dedicated Revoke Access screen.
For example, you cannot revoke access from the Grant Access screen.
