Create a Catalog PDF Template

Overview

The Create Catalog PDF Template feature allows you to standardize settings such as the layout and output items used when generating a catalog PDF and create them as reusable templates.

Purpose

By creating a Catalog PDF Template in advance, you can repeatedly output catalog PDFs with the same settings, which primarily aims to standardize operations and prevent reliance on specific individuals.

Using templates saves the effort of entering settings each time, reducing man-hours and freeing up time.

Important Notes

No Preview Feature Exists

Currently, there is no preview feature.

After creating a template, you must download a PDF from any catalog to check and adjust it.

Be Mindful of the Combination of Layout and Information Volume

Depending on the combination of layout, product display items, and the volume of information in the product data, content may overflow the printable area of the PDF.

In particular, when including product descriptions in the display items, specify a layout that can display a large amount of text.

As a workaround, you may need to register "Notes for Catalog PDF" in the product master and use it as a display item in the template.
