Create a Tax Master

Overview

Describes how to create a tax master used for tax calculation.

Purpose

The purpose of this feature is to define the tax master used in tax calculations in advance, enabling the same standards to be applied to Products and line items when creating documents.

Centralizing the management of tax masters makes it easier to manage and control tax-related information.

Feature Description

Uses of Tax Masters

The created tax can be used for all line items related to price, such as "Product" and "Custom Item", "Shipping", and "Other fees" when creating documents.

In orders, if a tax setting is applied to a product, the tax will be automatically applied when the tax's Target Country matches the buyer's country.

Target Country

The Target Country is the field to specify the country subject to the tax. Only one country can be specified.

Reduced Tax Rate

A Reduced Tax Rate can be explicitly specified.
Taxes specified as a Reduced Tax Rate will be clearly marked as such in document PDFs and other outputs.

Rounding Mode for Tax Calculation

The Rounding Mode for tax calculation can be defined. Specifies how to handle cases where fractions occur in the tax amount.
