Create a Packaging Box

Overview​

Create a "Packaging Box" to be used with the export documents feature.

The packaging box is a master for managing the dimensions and empty weight of the outer boxes used in packaging (Case).

Purpose​

The main purpose is to standardize and manage the outer box information used during the creation of export documents by Box No. unit by creating packaging boxes.

This prevents inconsistencies in input for each task and allows for centralized management of packaging box information while reducing errors in registering packaging information.

The packaging box master manages the dimensions and empty weight of the outer boxes used for packaging (Case).

Creation rules per Box No.​

One packaging box is created for each Box No.

Instructions​

Moving to the packaging box creation screen​

  1. Click Maker Settings > Click Open Maker Settings.
  2. Click Export.
  3. Click Create a New Packaging Box.
    The "Create a Packaging Box" modal opens.

How to fill out the form​

  1. Box No.
    Enter the management number.

  2. Description
    You can enter a description (memo) of the packaging box.

  3. Weight
    Enter the following items regarding weight:

    • Box Weight: Enter the weight of the packaging box itself.
    • MIN WEIGHT: Enter the minimum load weight.
    • MAX WEIGHT: Enter the maximum load weight.
    • Unit: You can select units from g, oz, lb, and kg from the pull-down menu.

  4. Size
    Enter the following items regarding size:

    • Width: Enter the width of the packaging box.
    • Height: Enter the height of the packaging box.
    • Length: Enter the depth of the packaging box.
    • Unit: You can select units from cm, in, ft, mm, m, and yd from the pull-down menu.

Create the Packaging Box​

After confirming the details, click the Create button.

The packaging box will be created.

Important Notes​

Box No. is managed for each packaging box​

One packaging box is created for each Box No.

Note that duplicate Box No. with existing packaging boxes is permitted.
