Enable the Inventory Management Feature
Overview
Explains how to make the inventory management feature available for the entire maker account and perform the initial setup for inventory operations.
Purpose
The purpose of enabling the inventory management feature is to prepare an environment where location management, label management, and order policy management can be handled on the same operational platform.
This allows for unified setting standards for inventory operations and the construction of business flows that minimize discrepancies between individual personnel.

Scope of Activation
Enabling the inventory management feature applies to the entire maker account.
Management Features Available Upon Activation
When the inventory management feature is enabled, the following management features become available:
- Locations
- Labels
- Order Policies
Mandatory Initial Settings Upon Activation
The following settings are mandatory when enabling the inventory management feature:
- Language For Inventory Label
- Default Inventory Order Policy
Registration Timing for Default Location Address
The address for the default location can be registered after operations begin, even if it is not registered at the time of activation.
After enabling the inventory management feature, please check "Maker Settings > Inventory > Go to Inventory Resource Management > Locations."
Instructions
Navigating to the inventory management feature settings screen
- Click Maker Settings.
- Click Inventory.
- Click Enable Inventory Management.
The "Initial Setup" modal opens.
How to Complete the Form

Language For Inventory Label
Specify the language for the inventory labels generated upon activation using the pull-down menu. -
Default Inventory Order Policy
Set the inventory order policy (sales format) to be displayed as the default when creating a catalog.
Select from the following four types using the pull-down menu:- Inventory Order
- Inventory Order And Backorder
- Make To Order
- Pre Order
Please select the one most frequently used when taking orders in DEXTRE.

Default Location Settings
Specify whether or not to register an address for the default location using the toggle button.- Enable Register Address: Registers the address for the Default Location Settings.
Also, enter various address information in the input form. - Disable Register Address: Does not register the address for the Default Location Settings.
- Enable Register Address: Registers the address for the Default Location Settings.
Executing Activation
After confirming the details, click the Enable button.
The inventory management feature will be enabled.
Important Notes
Cannot be disabled after activation
Once the inventory management feature is enabled, it cannot be disabled.
