Edit a Shipping Rate

Overview​

This feature allows you to change and update the settings (name, price, applicable conditions, target regions, etc.) for existing shipping fee rates.

Purpose​

The purpose of the shipping rate editing feature is to provide continuous maintenance of active shipping rates, such as correcting erroneously registered information or changing amounts due to shipping fee revisions.

Feature Description​

Target Items for Rate Editing​

The following items can be edited.

  • Code
  • Rate Name
  • Shipping Fee
  • Applicable Amount Condition (Minimum Amount, Maximum Amount)
  • Rate Description
  • Target States

Required Fields and Input Units​

"Code" and "Rate Name" are required fields.

Shipping fees and the price conditions (Minimum Amount, Maximum Amount) are all entered as "excl. tax". Consumption tax will be calculated and added separately by the system.

Display Conditions for Region Selection (Prefectures)​

The display of the region selection field (prefectures) toggles depending on the target country of the rate group.

  • The prefecture setting field is displayed only when the target country of the rate group is Japan.
  • The prefecture setting field is not displayed if the target country of the rate group is other than Japan.

Setting Order Amount Conditions​

By enabling the checkboxes for Applicable Amount Condition, you can set order amount conditions.

  • Minimum Amount: The condition to apply when the order amount is "more than or equal to" a certain amount
  • Maximum Amount: The condition to apply when the order amount is "less than or equal to" a certain amount

Shipping fees and condition amounts (Minimum Amount/Maximum Amount) are all entered as excl. tax.

Instructions​

Navigating to the Shipping Fee Rate Editing Screen​

  1. Click Maker Settings > Open Maker Settings.
  2. Click Shipping Fee.
  3. Click Detail button for the rate group for which you want to configure shipping fee settings.
  4. Click Update button for the rate you want to configure shipping fee settings for.
    The "Update the Shipping Fee Rate" modal opens.

How to Enter the Form​

Edit the input items as necessary.

  1. Code (Required)
    Enter the identifier managed by the system.

    This is also used for integration with external systems and data export in Excel.

  2. Rate Name (Required)
    Enter the name of the rate.

  3. Shipping Fee (excl. tax)
    Enter the shipping fee to be applied to the order.

    • Enter the price according to the currency of the rate group.
    • Enter as an excl. tax price.

  4. Applicable Amount Condition
    By checking Minimum Amount and Maximum Amount, you can enter the prices.

    You can specify the order amount for which the shipping fee will be applied according to the entered price.

    • To set a lower limit for the order amount, enable the Minimum Amount checkbox and enter the price.
    • To set an upper limit for the order amount, enable the Maximum Amount checkbox and enter the price.
    • Enter the price according to the currency of the rate group.
    • Enter as an excl. tax price.

  5. Rate Description
    You can enter an overview of the rate as necessary.

  6. Target States
    You can select the regions (prefectures) to which the shipping rate applies by checking them.

    • Multiple regions can be selected.
    • Currently, this is only displayed when the target country of the rate group is "Japan".

Updating the Rate​

After confirming the contents, click the Update button.
The shipping fee rate will be updated.

Important Notes​

Immediate Reflection of Edits and Notification to Buyers​

Edits are reflected immediately.

When editing rates applied to "Catalogs" or "Links" that are currently published, please be mindful of the timing for notifying buyers.

Codes Cannot Be Duplicated​

Enter the code as a unique string that does not duplicate with other rates.

If a duplicate code is entered, an error will occur when updating.

Please Enter Amounts as Excl. Tax​

Always enter shipping fees and condition amounts (Minimum Amount/Maximum Amount) as excl. tax.

Consumption tax will be calculated and added separately by the system.
