Create a Shipping Rate

Overview​

This feature allows you to create new shipping rates for existing rate groups.

In shipping rates, you can register shipping fees and conditions to be automatically applied according to order details (destination and total amount).

Purpose​

The shipping fee rate creation feature aims to prevent setting differences between persons in charge by standardizing shipping fee application rules according to order conditions.

Since multiple rates with different conditions can be managed within the same rate group, operational decisions can be clarified, and shipping fees can be set continuously based on the same criteria.

Rate management within a rate group​

Multiple shipping rates with different conditions can be created within one rate group.

The created shipping rates are managed within the rate group details page.

Display conditions for region selection (prefectures)​

The region selection field (prefectures) when creating a shipping rate switches its display depending on the target country of the rate group.

  • The prefecture setting field is displayed only when the target country of the rate group is Japan.
  • If the target country of the rate group is other than Japan, the prefecture setting field will not be displayed.

Setting order amount conditions​

By enabling the checkbox for Applicable Conditions, you can set order amount conditions.

  • Minimum Amount: Conditions applied when the order amount is "at least" a certain amount
  • Maximum Amount: Conditions applied when the order amount is "up to" a certain amount

All shipping fees and condition amounts (Minimum Amount/Maximum Amount) must be entered excluding tax.

Instructions​

Preparation​

In advance, please create a rate group as the registration destination for the rate.

Shipping rate groups can be created via "Maker Settings > Shipping Fee > Create a New Rate Group".

Move to the shipping rate creation screen​

  1. Click Maker Settings > Open Maker Settings.
  2. Click Shipping Fee.
  3. Click Detail button for the rate group for which you want to set shipping fees.
  4. Click Create a New Rate.
    The "Create a New Shipping Fee Rate" modal will open.

How to fill out the form​

  1. Code (Required)
    Enter the identifier to be managed by the system.

    This is also used for integration with external systems, data output in Excel, etc.

  2. Rate Name (Required)
    Enter the name of the rate.

  3. Shipping Fee (Excl. Tax)
    Enter the shipping fee to be applied to the order.

    • Enter the price according to the currency of the rate group.
    • Enter the price excluding tax.

  4. Applicable Condition
    By checking Minimum Amount and Maximum Amount, you can enter the prices.

    You can specify the order amount to which the shipping fee applies according to the entered prices.

    • To set a lower limit for the order amount, enable the Minimum Amount checkbox and enter the price.
    • To set an upper limit for the order amount, enable the Maximum Amount checkbox and enter the price.
    • Enter the price according to the currency of the rate group.
    • Enter the price excluding tax.

  5. Rate Description
    If necessary, you can enter an overview of the shipping rate you are creating.

  6. Target States
    You can select the regions (prefectures) to apply the shipping fee rate by checking them.

    • Multiple regions can be selected.
    • Currently, this is displayed only when the target country of the rate group is "Japan".

Create shipping rate​

After confirming the details, click the Create button.
The shipping rate will be created.

Important Notes​

Codes cannot be duplicated​

Enter the code as a unique string that does not overlap with other rates.

If a duplicate code is entered, an error will occur during creation.

Please enter amounts excluding tax​

Be sure to enter shipping fees and condition amounts (Minimum Amount/Maximum Amount) excluding tax.

Consumption tax will be calculated and added separately on the system.
