Delete a Tax Master

Overview

This section explains the steps for deleting tax masters and precautions to take during deletion.

Purpose

The purpose is to organize tax information by deleting unnecessary tax masters and to make it easier to manage tax settings centrally.

Additionally, by excluding incorrectly created tax masters from management, the reference targets for tax masters are kept clear, reducing confusion in information management.

Feature Description

Nature of Deletion

When a tax master deletion is executed, the tax master is permanently removed. There is no way to restore it after deletion.

Conditions Restricting Deletion

Taxes applied to products cannot be deleted. An error will occur when executing the deletion.

Instructions

Navigating to the Tax List Screen

  1. Click Maker Settings > Open Maker Settings.
    The "Maker Settings" page is displayed.
  2. Click Tax.
    The list of Tax masters is displayed on the "Maker Settings" page.

Delete Tax

  1. Click the Delete button for the tax master you wish to delete.
    The "Delete Tax" modal opens.

  2. Confirm that it is the correct tax to be deleted and click the Delete button.

    Upon successful processing, the target tax master is deleted.
    If the process fails, an error message will be displayed. Please check the content and try again.

Important Notes

Taxes applied to products cannot be deleted

Taxes applied to products cannot be deleted. An error will occur when executing the deletion.

Deletion is generally not recommended

Deleting a tax may cause data inconsistency in dependent document data.

Except in cases where it was created by mistake, deleting tax masters is not recommended.
