Use and Manage Bespoke Output Templates

Overview​

Bespoke Output Templates are a made-to-order service that enables the output of external files (such as PDFs) with unique layouts and designs not available in DEXTRE's standard features.

Templates implemented for individual requirements can be managed and used within each brand environment.

Purpose​

By utilizing data registered in DEXTRE to output original formats such as catalog PDFs, hang tag PDFs, order forms, delivery notes, and invoices, it helps in information utilization, analysis, and sales contribution.

It also reduces the effort of manual transcription and layout adjustment, leading to improved business efficiency.

Feature Description​

What are Bespoke Output Templates?​

"Bespoke Output Templates" are a made-to-order service that enables the output of external files such as PDFs with your company's original layout and design, which are not available in DEXTRE's standard features.

We will create and implement a template in your dedicated brand environment that faithfully reproduces the unique design you requested. This makes it possible to utilize product information registered in DEXTRE to output original catalog PDFs, hang tags, forms, and more.

Examples of templates that can be created:

  • Catalog PDFs with your company's unique layout for use at exhibitions or business negotiations
  • hang tag PDFs with your company's unique layout not available in DEXTRE's standard features
  • Other special format order forms, delivery notes, invoices, etc.

Service Features​

  • Realization of Original Designs: We respond to requests for detailed layouts and designs, creating templates that reflect your brand's worldview.
  • Templates Exclusive to Your Company: Since the created templates are implemented in the environment of the manufacturer who requested them, they cannot be used by other manufacturers.
  • Improved Business Efficiency: Because PDFs and other files are generated directly using DEXTRE data, the effort of manual transcription and layout adjustment is reduced, significantly streamlining operations.

Workflow Until Start of Use​

  1. Inquiry and Request

    Please feel free to consult our support desk regarding your desired template. A representative will interview you regarding your requirements (design, layout, items to be included, etc.).

  2. Quotation

    Based on the interview details, we will estimate and present the development cost and delivery date.

  3. Template Development and Implementation

    If you agree to the quotation, we will begin developing the template. The completed template will be implemented in your dedicated DEXTRE environment.

  4. Start of Use

    As soon as implementation is complete, it will be available for use immediately.

The following instructions explain the use and management of Bespoke Output Templates.

Bespoke Output Template Management Screen​

Navigating to the Template Management Screen​

  1. Click the Settings menu.

  2. Click Bespoke Output Template Management within Output Template.

    You will transition to the "Bespoke Output Template Management" page.

    Templates created based on the request details will be displayed in a list.

Checking and Editing Bespoke Output Template Details​

On the "Bespoke Output Template Management" page, the following operations are possible:

To check detailed information of a template

  1. Click the Detail button for the template you want to check. The "Output Template Detail" modal will open.
  2. You can check details such as the display name and overview.

To edit the Name, Description, etc., of a template

  1. Click the Edit button for the template you want to edit. The "Edit Output Template" modal will open.
  2. Edit the Name, Description, etc., as necessary.

How to Use Catalog-type Templates​

Explains how to download PDFs (catalog PDFs, hang tag PDFs, etc.) that use catalogs as a data source.

Navigating to the Catalog PDF Download Screen​

  1. Click the Catalogs menu.

  2. Click Download Catalog PDF.

    You will transition to the "Download Catalog PDF" page.

Downloading Catalog-type PDFs​

  1. Select Bespoke Output PDF Template from the Catalog output type dropdown.

  2. Enter the required items displayed on the screen.

    *Input items vary depending on the content of the selected template.

  3. After confirming the input details, click the Download button.

    If the process is successful, a PDF with the Bespoke Output Template applied will be downloaded.

Enabling Download of Bespoke Output Templates for Catalog PDFs from the Buyer App​

Navigating to the Catalog PDF Template Edit Screen​

  1. Click the Settings menu.
  2. Click Bespoke Output Template Management within Output Templates.
  3. Click Edit for the template whose template type is Catalog PDF.
    The "Edit Output Template" modal will open.

Setting Access Permission from Buyers​

  1. Buyer Access Control Specify whether to allow or not allow access from buyers using the toggle button.

    • Allow Buyer Access: When downloading a catalog PDF from the Buyer App, the Bespoke Output Template becomes selectable.
    • Deny Buyer Access: When downloading a catalog PDF from the Buyer App, it will be excluded from the item options.

  2. After confirming the details, click Update.

    If the process is successful, the access permission settings for buyers will be updated.

If you want buyers to download catalog PDFs, you must also set Download catalog PDF by buyer to Allow in the catalog settings.

Important Notes​

Regarding Data That Can Be Output​

With Bespoke Output Templates, you can utilize product information registered in DEXTRE to output to external files such as PDFs.

If you wish to use data that does not exist in DEXTRE (e.g., information or images not included in the product master), we may not be able to realize your desired content.

Regarding Constraints on Design and Specifications​

While we strive to realize your desired design to the maximum extent possible, due to technical constraints of the system, it may be difficult to realize some designs or specifications.

In particular, please understand that we may not be able to fully meet requests regarding font specifications or the reproduction of complex layouts.

Regarding the Scope of Support​

This service provides a template feature for normally outputting external files from the DEXTRE system.

Limited troubles that depend on hardware or your usage environment, such as subtle misalignment or color differences when printing with a specific printer, are generally outside the scope of support.
