Duplicate a Lookbook

Overview

This section explains the steps to create a new lookbook by duplicating an existing one.

Purpose

By duplicating a lookbook, you can quickly prepare lookbooks with similar concepts by utilizing the already registered images and related products configurations, enhancing information utility and sales promotion efficiency.

In addition, making edits based on a lookbook created once helps in reducing man-hours and creating more time.

Items Carried Over by Duplication

When duplicating, the following items are carried over as basic settings.

  • Lookbook Name
  • Status

Optional Duplication Content

The following information is not included in the duplication by default and must be optionally selected to be included.

  • Duplicate media images
  • Related Products

Lookbook Destinations

Lookbooks can be created as masters and used in the following destinations:

  • Brand
  • Catalog
  • Instant Order Link
  • Dynamic Brand Link
  • Customer Order Link

Required Items

The following items are required to duplicate and create a lookbook:

  • Name
  • Status
  • Image

Status and Publication Conditions

The status of a lookbook can be specified from the following two types:

  • Public: Publishes the lookbook and displays it to buyers.
  • Draft: Saves the lookbook as a draft. It will not be published to buyers.

Image File Constraints

The following constraints apply to image data used for lookbooks:

  • Maximum uploadable file size: Within 3MB
  • Recommended file size: Within 300KB
  • Supported file formats: jpeg, png, webp, gif
  • Aspect Ratio: 2:3 (Portrait), 3:2 (Landscape)

The system behavior based on file size is as follows:

  • Files exceeding 3MB: Cannot be uploaded.
  • Files exceeding 300KB: Can be uploaded, but a warning will be displayed.

Instructions

Open the Duplicate Lookbook Screen

  1. Click the Brand menu.

  2. Click Show all lookbooks.
    You will be redirected to the "Lookbook List" page.

  3. Click the Duplicate button for the lookbook you wish to duplicate.

  4. The "Confirm the contents of lookbook duplication" modal will open.

    • To duplicate including images registered in the lookbook: Check Duplicate media images.
    • To duplicate including related products registered for each image: Also check Duplicate related products.
  5. Click the Duplicate button.
    You will be redirected to the "Create a New Lookbook" page.

    The lookbook creation form will be displayed with the information of the lookbook to be duplicated already entered.

How to Enter the Form

Edit the input items as necessary.

  1. Lookbook Name
    Enter the name of the lookbook.

    • Enter it for each language enabled in "Maker Settings > Core Preferences".
    • If the Copy checkbox is enabled, the text will be copied from the primary language.
  2. Status
    Select either Public or Draft from the dropdown.

  3. Image
    By clicking the Select an Image button, you can upload images and select the images to be set for the lookbook.

  4. Related Products
    For each image, clicking Select Products allows you to select products (item credits) related to that image.

    Selected related products can be reordered by drag-and-drop.

Image Upload/Selection Procedure

This section explains the steps to upload and select images for the lookbook.
It is divided into the following two cases:

  • When uploading and registering new images to DEXTRE
  • When using images already uploaded to DEXTRE

When uploading and registering new images to DEXTRE:

  1. Click the Select an Image button.
    The "Select a Lookbook Image" modal opens.

  2. Click Upload an Image to switch the view.

  3. Click the File Selection button and select the images to upload.
    It is also possible to add them by drag-and-drop.

    • The maximum file size for images is 3MB.
      Image files exceeding 3MB cannot be uploaded.
    • The recommended file size is 300KB.
      If an image exceeding 300KB is selected, uploading is possible, but a warning will be displayed.
    • Supported file formats are jpeg, png, webp, gif.
    • Aspect ratios are 2:3 (Portrait) and 3:2 (Landscape).
  4. Bulk Specification of Image Aspect Ratio
    Use this when you want to change the aspect ratio (orientation) of the images to be uploaded all at once.

    Select either Portrait orientation or Landscape orientation from the dropdown.
    By clicking Apply All, you can change the orientation of all images at once.

  5. Upload Image List
    Displays thumbnails of the images to be uploaded in a row.
    The following operations are possible for each image:

    • Control the upload order by reordering with drag-and-drop.
    • Individually change the aspect ratio (orientation) of images from the dropdown.
    • Click the trash can icon to exclude an image from the upload list.
  6. Execute Upload
    Once the upload order settings are complete, click the Upload button.
    The images to be set for the lookbook will be selected as soon as the upload is complete.

When using images already uploaded to DEXTRE:

  1. Click the Select an Image button.
    The "Select a Lookbook Image" modal opens.

  2. Confirm that Select is open.
    *It is open by default.

  3. Click to select the images to use from the image list.
    Selected images will have a blue border.
    Images will be added to the lookbook in the order they were selected. They can be reordered later by drag-and-drop.

    If many images are displayed, click the Next button to show the next page.

    tip

    Utilizing the "Search" and "Sort" features for images makes it easier to find the desired image.

    • Search: You can search for lookbook images saved in the brand's media storage by "Keywords" or "Created Date".
    • Sort by Created Date: When searching by a specified created date, you can reorder the image list by specifying Ascending/Descending.

    After specifying search conditions, click the Search button to display results.
    To reset search conditions, click the Reset button.

  4. Execute Selection
    Once the image selection is complete, click the Select button.
    The images to be set for the lookbook are selected.

Related Product Selection Procedure

You can select products (item credits) related to a specified image using the following steps:

  1. Click Select Products for the image you want to set related products for.
    The "Select Products" modal opens.

  2. Check the target products from the product list.

    • Multiple products can be selected.
    • To select all products that match the search criteria, click Select All.
    • You can narrow down products by entering criteria in Search Products.
  3. Execute Selection
    Once the product selection is complete, click the Select button.
    The products related to the image are selected.

Create the Lookbook

After confirming the content, click the Create button.

If the process is successful, a new lookbook will be created.
If it fails, please check the error details and try again.

Important Notes

Image File Constraints and Warnings

The maximum uploadable file size is limited to 3MB, and files exceeding 3MB cannot be uploaded.

For images exceeding the recommended size of 300KB, uploading is possible, but a warning will be displayed by the system.

From the perspective of display quality and performance, uploading within the recommended size is advised as much as possible.

Publication Status Required for Buyer Visibility

The lookbook will only be displayed to buyers once it is set to Public status.

If creating in Draft status, please change it to Public status at the necessary timing.
