Register Inventory
Overview
This feature in the inventory management function allows you to increase or decrease the inventory quantity of products based on input values.
Purpose
This feature centralizes product inventory information by inventory label and location unit, and enables management of inventory quantities based on the results of stocktaking and receiving/shipping.
Since increases and decreases can be specified by entering positive or negative numerical values, inventory data can be appropriately updated according to operations such as orders, arrivals, and stocktaking.
Feature Description
Inventory Registration Unit
Inventory quantities are set for Product SKU. The registration unit is a combination of Inventory Label and Inventory Location.
For the same combination of label and location, inventory quantities for multiple SKUs can be registered at once.
Rules for Increasing/Decreasing Inventory Quantity
The increase or decrease in inventory quantity is determined by the positive or negative nature of the numerical value entered.
- To increase inventory quantity: Specify with a positive number such as
10or20. - To decrease inventory quantity: Specify with a negative number such as
-10or-20.
The input value is an increase/decrease value (relative value) and is added to or subtracted from the current inventory quantity.
It is not an absolute value (target inventory quantity).
Regarding Negative Inventory Quantities
For inventory labels where Allow negative inventory quantity is set, it is possible to register quantities where the updated inventory quantity falls below 0.
For inventory labels where this is not allowed, it is not possible to enter a negative value that would cause the updated inventory to fall below 0.
For details, please refer to Configure Negative Inventory Quantity for Inventory Labels.

Important Notes
Input Values Must Be Increase/Decrease Values (Relative Values)
The specification of this feature is to increase or decrease the current inventory quantity by the entered value.
It is not an absolute value (target inventory quantity).
Example of input values:
If the current inventory is 50 and you want to correct it to 60 as a result of stocktaking, do not enter 60, but enter the increment 10 as a positive number.
Please be very careful, as incorrectly entering the target value 60 will result in an excess inventory registration of 110.
Restrictions on Operations Where Inventory Falls Below 0
For inventory labels where the Allow negative inventory quantity setting is not enabled, excessive negative input that would result in the inventory falling below 0 is not possible.
If inventory registration below 0 is required, please change the settings of the relevant label in advance.
