Delete an Inventory Location

Overview​

Explains the steps to delete a created inventory location.

Purpose​

By deleting unnecessary inventory locations, you can organize the location list and keep the inventory management configuration information centralized.

Feature Description​

Deletable Conditions​

An inventory location can be deleted only if it meets all of the following conditions:

  • Not associated with existing inventory data
  • Not associated with existing order policies
  • Not set as default
  • Not used in external system integrations, and so on

Locations that do not meet all of the above conditions cannot be deleted.

Instructions​

Move to the Delete Inventory Location Screen​

The Delete button is displayed only for deletable locations.

  1. Click Maker Settings > Inventory Resource.
    Transitions to the "Inventory Resource" page.
  2. Click the Locations tab.
  3. Click the Delete button for the location you want to delete.
    The "Delete Inventory Location" modal opens.

Delete an Inventory Location​

After confirming that the target inventory location is correct, click the Delete button.

Upon successful processing, the inventory location will be deleted.

Important Notes​

Deleted locations cannot be restored​

A deleted location cannot be restored.

Please carefully check the deletion target before execution.

Locations that cannot be deleted​

Locations where inventory data has been created at least once basically cannot be deleted.

Constraint rules are strictly set to keep system data consistency safe.
