Delete an Inventory Order Policy

Overview

This section explains the procedure for deleting an existing Inventory Order Policy and the precautions to take when deleting it.

Purpose

By organizing unnecessary Inventory Order Policies and excluding unused policies from management, the list of order policies and reference targets for related features are kept clear, aiming for the centralization of information.

Feature Description

Nature of deletion

The deletion of an Inventory Order Policy is reflected immediately.

There is no operation to restore an Inventory Order Policy after it has been deleted.

Conditions for Deletion

Only inventory order policies that meet all of the following conditions can be deleted:

  • Not associated with any existing catalogs
  • Not associated with any existing orders
  • Not set as default
  • Not used in external system integrations, etc.

Inventory order policies that do not meet the above conditions cannot be deleted.

Instructions

Move to the deletion screen for Inventory Order Policies

  1. Click Maker Settings > Inventory Resource.
  2. Click the Order Policies tab.
  3. Click the Delete button for the Inventory Order Policy you wish to delete.
    The "Delete Inventory Order Policy" modal opens.

Delete an Inventory Order Policy

After confirming that it is the correct Inventory Order Policy to be deleted, click the Delete button.

If the process is successful, the Inventory Order Policy will be deleted.

Important Notes

Order policies with created order data cannot be deleted

Order policies that have had order data created even once generally cannot be deleted.

Constraint rules are strictly set to safely maintain data consistency within the system.

Deletion cannot be undone

Deleted order policies cannot be restored.

Please confirm thoroughly that the target order policy is unnecessary before deleting it.
