Configure the Default Seller-Borne Bank Transfer Fee for a Buyer

Overview

Explains how to set the default seller borne bank transfer fee for a buyer, which is referenced as the initial value when creating a billing invoice.

Purpose

By setting a default seller borne bank transfer fee for each buyer, you can standardize the baseline amount referenced when creating a billing invoice on a per-buyer basis.

Use this to reduce the operational burden of having the person in charge determine and input the amount every time, and to prevent the process from becoming dependent on individual skills by standardizing the handling of fee settings.

Feature Description

You can use the amount set for each buyer as the initial value when creating a billing invoice

You can set an arbitrary amount as the default seller borne bank transfer fee for each buyer. The amount set for the buyer is referenced as the initial value when creating a billing invoice.

When creating a billing invoice, you can change it to any amount different from the default value.

The fee is treated as an amount excluding tax

The fee amount set for the buyer is treated as an amount excluding tax on the billing invoice.

When creating a billing invoice, you can apply any tax to the fee, and the amount after applying tax becomes the final fee.

The selectable taxes are determined by the taxes available in the maker's tax settings.

For instructions on how to create a tax, refer to Create a Tax Master.

The applied transfer fee is treated as the Applied Amount of Seller Borne Bank Transfer Fee on the billing invoice, and is deducted from the total billing amount.

The setting method has individual configuration and bulk configuration

There are two ways to set the default seller borne bank transfer fee: setting it individually for one buyer, and setting it in bulk for multiple buyers.

This manual explains how to set it individually for a single buyer.

To set it in bulk for multiple buyers, refer to Bulk Update Buyers with Quick Edit.

Important Notes

The amount set for the buyer can be changed when creating a billing invoice

The default seller borne bank transfer fee is treated as the initial value when creating a billing invoice.

If you input a different amount when creating a billing invoice, the input provided during billing invoice creation takes precedence.

The final fee amount includes the result of applying tax

Since the amount set for the buyer is treated as an amount excluding tax, if you apply a tax when creating a billing invoice, the amount after applying tax becomes the final fee.
