Edit an Invoice
Overview
This feature allows you to edit an Invoice that has already been created.
Items related to amount calculations or source data of the Invoice cannot be edited; only basic information that does not affect the amounts can be changed.
Purpose
The primary purpose of invoice update is to correct basic information that needs review after issuance, such as the Billing Address or payment due date, and keep invoice management information up to date.
It also makes it easier to prevent input or setting errors within a range that does not affect the billing content by updating notes, tags, and PDF comments.

Editable Items
The following items can be edited:
- Billing Address
- Maker bank
- Billing Invoice No.
- Issue Date
- Payment Term name
- Payment Due At
- Note
- Comments in the PDF
- Comments in the PDF (Character limit)
- Select Tags
- Billing Invoice No. cannot be duplicated with other Invoices.
- Changes to the Maker bank require the bank account to be created in the master data in advance. You can use bank accounts that correspond to the Currency of the Invoice.

Non-editable Items
The following items cannot be edited:
- Target Buyer
- Data Source Type
- Seller borne bank transfer fee
- Billing Percent / Invoice type
- Custom Items
- Shipping Costs
- Other Costs
- Return Delivery Notes
- Credit Notes
Instructions
Navigating to the Invoice Editing Screen
- Click the Transactions menu > Billing Management.
- Click the Billing Invoices tab.
*It is open by default. - If necessary, you can filter invoices by entering conditions into each item in Search.
- Click the Edit button for the invoice you wish to edit.
You will be redirected to the "Update the Billing Invoice" page.
How to Fill Out the Form
Edit the input items as necessary.
Basic Information of the Invoice

Billing Address
Specify whether to register the billing address or not using the toggle button.- Enable Register billing address: You can register a billing address. Also set the address information.
- Disable Register billing address: Do not register a billing address.
When registering a billing address, select the following items from the dropdown to specify or enter the billing address:
- Input New Address: Enter various address information for the billing destination.
- Select Billing Address: Select or change the billing address from the billing destination list.

Maker bank
Select the bank account to receive payment from the dropdown. You can use bank accounts that correspond to the currency. -
Billing Invoice No.
You can change the Billing Invoice No. set for the invoice via free text input. -
Issue Date
Specify whether or not to designate an issue date for the invoice using the toggle button. The issue date will be used as the document date.- Enable Set the issue date.: Enter the year, month, and day for the invoice issue date. You can select it from a calendar.
- Disable Set the issue date.: An issue date for the invoice will not be set. Disable this if it is not required.

Payment Term name
Enter the name of the payment term. -
Payment Due At
Enter the year, month, and day for the payment due date. You can select it from a calendar. -
Note
Enter an internal memo. This will not be output to the PDF. -
Comments in the PDF
Enter the text to be included in the footer section of the last page of the PDF. There is no character limit. -
Comments in the PDF (Character limit)
Enter the text to be included in the header section of the PDF. You can enter up to 100 characters.
Tag Settings

Select Tags
Select the tags to apply to the invoice.You can set control tags for internal data classification and operational notes.
Control tags are not visible to buyers.Enable the checkboxes for the tags you want to set from the options.

How to Create a Tag

Click Create Tag.
The "Create a New Tag" modal will open. -
Enter the following items:
- Tag Code (Required)
Enter the code that identifies the tag. - Tag Name (Required)
Enter the display name of the tag. - Description
Enter a brief description of the tag. - Tag Color
Specify whether or not to set a color for the tag using the toggle button.- Set Color is enabled: Specify any color from the color picker.
- Set Color is disabled: No color will be set for the tag.
- Tag Code (Required)

After confirming the entries, click the Create button.
The created tag will be added to the options in Select Tags.
Updating the Invoice
After confirming the entries, click the Update button.
If the process is successful, the invoice will be updated.
Important Notes
Correction of Billing Amount
Editing or updating related to the billing amount cannot be performed.
If a correction to the billing amount is necessary, the invoice must be deleted and recreated.
