Delete Brand Access Settings

Overview

This section explains the steps to delete Brand Access Settings (Access Policy) that are no longer needed and remove them from the Brand Access Settings list.

Purpose

This feature is used to delete Brand Access Settings that are no longer in use due to organizational changes or project completions, ensuring that member access control is properly maintained.

By not leaving unnecessary settings, you can prevent unintended expansion of access scopes and management oversight risks, thereby ensuring compliance and control.

Feature Description

What are Brand Access Settings?

Brand Access Settings are configurations (policies) that define which brand environments members with the System Role of Member can access.

Members to whom Brand Access Settings are applied can only access the authorized brands.

Access to brands that have not been authorized will be restricted.

Members who can execute deletion

The deletion of Brand Access Settings can only be performed by members with the following permissions:

  • Members whose System Role is Primary Owner
  • Members whose System Role is Owner
  • Members whose System Role is Member and whose System Permission is Admin

Nature of deletion

When deletion is executed, the Brand Access Settings are permanently deleted.

There is no way to restore them.

Instructions

Navigate to the Brand Access Settings deletion screen

  1. Click Maker Settings > Open Maker Settings.
You will transition to the Maker Settings page.
  2. Click Member.
  3. Click the Access Control tab.
  4. Click the Remove button for the target Brand Access Settings.
The Delete Policy modal will open.

Deleting Brand Access Settings

After confirming that the Brand Access Settings (policy) to be deleted are correct, click the Remove button.

If the process is successful, the Brand Access Settings will be deleted.

Important Notes

Impact on members to whom the settings are applied

If the deleted Brand Access Settings were applied to members, the Brand Access Settings for those members will automatically revert to Default.
In the Default state, access to all brands within the maker organization is permitted.

There is a risk that the viewing scope may unintentionally expand, making it possible to view brands that should not be accessible.

Please re-apply different Brand Access Settings to the target members before performing the deletion.

Permanence of deletion

There are no features to undo Brand Access Settings once it has been deleted.

If deleted by mistake, you will need to recreate the settings from scratch starting from Create Brand Access Settings.
