Edit a Member
Overview
This feature allows you to edit a member's permissions and brand access settings.
Purpose
Use member editing to review each member's permissions and brand access settings based on operational needs and maintain access control for the maker organization.
Reviewing each member's settings also helps prevent missing configurations and excessive permissions.
Feature Description
Editable members and items
You can edit existing members in the maker organization, except for the Primary Owner.
Users who are being invited and have not yet joined the maker organization cannot be edited.
In member editing, you can change the following items:
- System Role
- System Permission
- Brand Access Settings
System Role Details
The system role determines which features the member being edited can use.
There are two types of system roles: Owner and Member. The differences between their roles are as follows:
- Owner:
- Can use all features of DEXTRE.
- One of the owners within the maker becomes a special role called Primary Owner as a representative.
- Member:
- Some features of DEXTRE are restricted.
- Currently, restrictions are placed on contract-related operations.
System Permission Details
System permission determines how much a member can do within the scope allowed by the system role.
It is set when Member is selected for the system role.
- Admin:
- Can use all features allowed by the System Role.
- If the system role is Owner, the system permission is fixed to Admin.
- Write:
- Some settings related to the maker and brand are restricted.
- Subject to control by roles and permissions. If roles and permissions are not granted, Default Access Control is applied.

Brand Access Settings Details
Sets which brand environments users with the system role of Member can access.
- Default: Allows access to all brands within the maker organization.
- Brand Access Settings: If you select an existing Brand Access Settings option, you can only access the brands permitted by that setting.
If no brand access settings have been created, Default is applied.

Users who can edit members
The Primary Owner, Owners, and Members with Admin permissions can edit members.
Instructions
Open the member editing screen
- Click Maker Settings > Open Maker Settings.
The "Maker Settings" page opens. - Click Member.
- Click the Members tab.
*This tab is open by default. - Click the Edit button for the target member.
The "Update maker member" modal opens.
Fill Out the Form
Change each item as necessary.

System Role
Select one of the following from the drop-down list.- Owner
- Member

System Permission
Select one of the following from the drop-down list.
If the system role is Owner, the system permission is fixed to Admin.- Admin
- Write

Brand Access Settings
Set when the system role is Member.Select Default or an existing Brand Access Settings option from the drop-down list.
If no brand access settings have been created, you can only select Default.
Update member settings

After reviewing the details, click the Update button.
If the update succeeds, the member settings are updated.
Important Notes
Create Brand Access Settings in advance if you want to restrict accessible brands
If you want to restrict accessible brands for users whose system role is Member, you must create brand access settings in advance.

The Primary Owner cannot be edited
You cannot edit the Primary Owner's member settings here.
To edit the Primary Owner's settings, first change the Primary Owner to another Owner.
