Apply a Brand Access Setting to a Member

Overview

For members whose System Role is Member, you can restrict the brands they can access by applying pre-created Brand Access Settings.

Purpose

The feature to apply Brand Access Settings to members aims to control the scope of information access within the maker organization for each member, ensuring compliance and control.

By explicitly setting which brands are permitted for each member, you can prevent access to brand data outside their area of responsibility and achieve appropriate information management.

Feature Description

What are Brand Access Settings?

Brand Access Settings are settings (policies) that define which brand environments a member with the System Role of Member can access.

Members with Brand Access Settings applied can only access permitted brands.

Access to brands that are not permitted is restricted.

Target of Brand Access Settings

Brand Access Settings can only be applied to members whose System Role is Member.

They cannot be applied to Owners (including Primary Owners).

Limit on the Number of Applications

Only one Brand Access Setting can be applied per member.

Timing of Application

Brand Access Settings can be applied by editing existing member information, or by applying them in advance when inviting new members.

Permissions

Only members with any of the following permissions can perform operations for Brand Access Settings.

  • Primary Owner
  • Owner
  • Member / Admin

Instructions

The procedure for applying Brand Access Settings using the member edit feature is explained below.

Go to the Member's Brand Access Settings Screen

  1. Click Maker Settings > Open Maker Settings.
    You will be redirected to the "Maker Settings" page.

  2. Click Member.

  3. Click the Members tab.
    *This is opened by default.

  4. From the Member List, click the Edit button for the target member.
    The "Update maker member" modal will be displayed.

    *Brand Access Settings can only be applied to members whose System Role is Member.

How to Fill Out the Form

  1. Access Policy
    In Access Policy, select the Brand Access Setting to be applied from the pull-down menu.

    • Default permits access to all "Brands" within the maker organization.
    • If the System Role is Owner, the Brand Access Setting is fixed to Default.

Apply Brand Access Settings to a Member

After confirming the input details, click the Update button.

When the process is successful, the Brand Access Setting will be applied to the target member.

Important Notes

Behavior When "Default" is Selected

If Default is selected when applying an Access Policy, that member will be able to access all brands within the maker organization.

If you wish to apply restrictions, please ensure you select a specific pre-created Brand Access Setting.
