Change the Primary Owner
Overview
This section explains the operation to change the representative authority (Primary Owner) of a Maker organization to another Owner member.
Purpose
The primary purpose is to transfer the representative authority of the maker organization to the appropriate person in charge and maintain compliance and control in organization operations.
Feature Description
Primary Owner management rules
Only one Primary Owner can exist within a single Maker organization.
Role transition upon change
When the Primary Owner is changed to another member, the original Primary Owner is automatically changed to a regular "Owner."
Members that can be designated as successors
Only members whose current System Role is "Owner" can be designated as a successor.
Users who can perform the operation
Only users with "Primary Owner" or "Owner" permissions can execute the operation to change the Primary Owner.
Instructions
Navigating to the Primary Owner change screen
- Click Maker Settings > Open Maker Settings.
- Click Member.
- Click the Members tab.
*It is open by default. - Confirm that the System Role of the successor member is Owner.
- Click Change to primary owner for the target Owner.
The "Change primary owner" modal will be displayed.
Changing the Primary Owner
Confirm the target member and click the Update button.
- Once the change is complete, the designated member will become the Primary Owner.
- The original Primary Owner will automatically be changed to "Owner."
Please confirm that the System Role has been correctly updated in the Members list.
Important Notes
Member invitation is required first if the successor is not registered
On the members list, if the successor does not exist in the Members, the change of Primary Owner cannot be executed.
Change is not possible if the successor candidate has the "Member" role
Only members whose System Role is "Owner" can be designated as the Primary Owner.
