Reorder from a Returned Cart

Overview

This section explains the procedure to modify and reorder an order returned by the brand from the restored cart.

Purpose

This is used to prevent the mistake of proceeding with an order with incorrect details by checking the order details after it is returned, making necessary corrections, and reordering.

Status of returned orders and the cart

When a brand returns an order, the cart containing the ordered products is restored.

The returned cart will display Returned by brand, allowing you to identify that it was returned due to the brand's operation.

Actions available after return

The returned cart can be edited and reordered.

You can also open the catalog and add new order items.

Results after reordering

When the reorder is completed, a new order is created.

The old returned order will have the status Returned to cart on the Order Management page, and will remain as a log, effectively treated as canceled.

Instructions

Reordering from a returned cart is done using the following steps.

  1. Check the returned order
  2. Edit the cart
  3. Proceed to order
  4. Create the order

In the following steps, the operation starts from the state where you have moved to the dashboard screen of the target buyer.

  1. Sign in to the DEXTRE Buyer App.
  2. Click the Select button for the target buyer organization.

Check the returned order

  1. Click the Orders menu.
  2. Search
    Specify Returned to cart for Status in the search field and search.
  3. Check the order with the Returned to cart status.
note

If email notifications were enabled when the trading brand returned the order, you can access the returned order directly from the received email.

Edit the cart

Navigate to the cart editing screen

  1. Click the Draft Order List menu.
  2. Click the Edit cart / Order button for the order displaying Returned by brand.
    You will be redirected to the cart details page.

Edit the products in the cart

  1. Check the contents of the cart and make necessary corrections.

    • SKU Quantity: Change to any quantity.
    • Desired Delivery Date: Enter the desired date. You can select a date from the calendar.
    • Note to share with buyer company: Enter an internal memo.
    • Message to share with brand: Enter any product-level remarks to share with the brand.
    • Remove button: Deletes the product from the cart.
  2. Add products as needed.

Add products to the cart

  1. Click the Open Catalog button.
    You will be redirected to the catalog page.

  2. Click the Add to draft order list button for the product to be added.
    The "Add to draft order list" modal will open.

  3. Order Quantity
    Enter the quantity for the SKU to be added.

  4. Note to share with buyer company
    Enter an internal memo.

  5. Message to share with brand
    Enter any product-level remarks to share with the brand.

  6. Check the details and click the Add button.
    The "Add to draft order list" modal will close.

    Repeat this if you are adding multiple products.

  7. When the addition of products is complete, click the Check your cart button.
    You will be redirected to the cart details page.

Proceed to order

  1. Check the cart contents and click the Proceed to order button.
    The "Place an order" modal will open.

  2. Comment
    Enter any order-related remarks to share with the brand.

  3. Click the Next button.

  4. Billing Address, Delivery Address
    Set the address information for the order.

    • You can select an existing address from the pull-down menu.
    • You can modify the selected address information with the Edit button.
    • If you want to register a new address, click the Create a new billing address and Create a new delivery address buttons to create a new address.
  5. Click the Next button.

Create the order

Check the preview and click the Place an Order button.

If the process is successful, the order will be created.

Important Notes

Returned orders cannot be reused

The original returned order has already been treated as canceled.

To process it as a valid order, you must complete the reorder from the returned cart.
