Bulk Import to Reorder and Register Catalog Products (Excel)
Overview
This feature allows you to change the display order of products linked to a specific catalog and perform bulk product addition/registration by downloading and importing an Excel file (.xlsx) for import.
Each row consisting of a combination of "Catalog Code" and "Model Number" in the Excel file is managed as one product within the catalog.
Purpose
The primary purpose is to create time by reducing the man-hours required for reordering and additional registration of products within a catalog.
It is also useful for bulk management and centralization of information using Excel files.
Feature Description
Import Mechanism
During import, products are identified by matching them with the "Model Number" already registered in the system.
"Catalog Name" and "Product Name" are reference items and are not used for matching or data updates.
Reordering Specifications
The order from the second row onwards in the Excel file becomes the display order for the catalog product list as is.
- Products in the catalog with smaller row numbers will appear higher in the list.
- Products in the catalog with larger row numbers will appear lower in the list.
Additional Registration Specifications
By adding a "Model Number" that is not yet registered in the catalog as a row, you can execute product linking to the target catalog in bulk.
For rows to be added, both the "Catalog Code" to identify the target catalog and the "Model Number" are required.
Selection of Placement Position
You can select where to collectively place the imported catalog products within the list.
- Top of the list: The imported catalog products will be placed at the beginning of the catalog product list.
- Bottom of the list: The imported catalog products will be placed at the end of the catalog product list.
File Language
Based on the file language setting at the time of download, the language applied to each item (column name) in the file will change.
