Download a Packing List PDF
Overview
This section explains how to generate and download a packing list PDF from an existing Export Document.
Purpose
You can output a Packing List PDF and use it as a document to check and share the packing details of the cargo to be exported.
You can use a PDF that reflects the output settings to review the packing information configured in the Export Document.

What is a packing list?
A packing list is an Export Document used to check the packing details of cargo required for customs clearance.
The packing list presents the SKU information, quantities, and packing information configured in the Export Document in document form.
Main items that can be configured when downloading
You can configure the following items when outputting the PDF.
- PDF Layout
- Letter Head
- Signature
- Font Size
- Transaction Information
- Shipper Information
- Displaying product images
You can save the download settings as default settings
The settings used during download can be saved as default settings.
The saved default settings can be used the next time you download a Packing List PDF.
Instructions
Open the Packing List PDF download modal
- Click the Transactions menu > Export Management.
- Click the Download Packing List PDF button for the target Export Document.
The Download a Packing List PDF modal opens.

Use default settings
If saved default settings are available, use the checkbox to choose whether to apply them.- If the checkbox is checked: Uses the saved default settings. Proceed directly to the steps in Download a Packing List PDF.
- If the checkbox is unchecked: Do not use the default settings and configure the various download settings.

Overwrite default settings with the following
If selected, the download settings saved in the default settings are overwritten with the current download settings.From the next time onward, these download settings can be used as the default settings.
Configure the PDF output contents

PDF Layout
Select one of the following from the drop-down menu.- Output the SKU of an item, split by options and size.: Displays SKU information divided into columns for each item.
- Output the SKU of an item in one line.: Does not group SKUs by model number, but outputs separate line items for each SKU.

Letter Head
Select a registered Letter Head from the drop-down menu.For instructions on how to create a Letter Head, see Create a Letter Head for Document Output.

Signature
Select a registered Signature from the drop-down menu.For instructions on how to create a Signature, see Create a Signature for Document Output.

Font Size
Select 6px, 8px, 9px, or 10px from the drop-down menu. -
Display transaction information on the first page only
If selected, the Transaction Information shown in the header is omitted from the second page onward. -
Page break by parcel
If selected, each Parcel (case) starts on a new PDF page. -
SKU property column display name overwrite settings
Set this option only when Output the SKU of an item, split by options and size. is selected for PDF Layout.The SKU property column display name on the PDF will change depending on whether the checkbox is checked or unchecked.
tipFor example, if the SKU Property display names are
ColorandSize, the display names will change as follows.- If checked: The headings in the PDF output will be overwritten with their respective display names,
ColorandSize. - If unchecked: The headings in the PDF output will be displayed as
SKU Property 1andSKU Property 2.

PDF Header Title
Enter a title for the PDF header.A default title is inserted automatically.
You can also replace it with custom text. -
Display Company Name in Shipper Information
To display the company name in the Shipper Information section of the Packing List PDF, select the checkbox.If cleared, the company name is hidden from the Shipper Information section of the Packing List PDF.

Display Brand Name in Shipper Information
To display the brand name in the Shipper Information section of the Packing List PDF, select the checkbox.If cleared, the brand name is hidden from the Shipper Information section of the Packing List PDF.

Display the product image in PDF
If selected, the product image is displayed on the Packing List PDF.If cleared, the product image is hidden from the Packing List PDF.

File Name
You can customize the file name used when downloading the PDF.The File Name will be automatically populated with a file name based on the document numbering rules.

Download a Packing List PDF

After reviewing the details, click the Download button.
PDF generation begins.When the process succeeds, the "PDF generation is completed." modal appears.

Click the OPEN LINK button.
The PDF file opens in a browser. -
Download the PDF from the page that opens.
Important Notes
Output settings cannot be changed if "Use default settings" is checked
If Use default settings is checked, the saved output settings will be applied.
To change the display settings for PDF Layout, Letter Head, Signature, Font Size, Transaction Information, Shipper Information, or product images, clear Use default settings.
When changing the contents of the Export Document
On the PDF download screen, you can configure the output contents of the PDF.
If you want to change the contents of the Export Document such as SKU information, Quantity, and packing information, see Edit Export Documents (Packing List / Commercial Invoice) to edit the target Export Document before downloading the PDF.
