Subscribe to and Enable the Stripe Credit Card Payment Integration Add-on

Overview​

This manual explains the procedure to subscribe to and enable the Stripe credit card payment add-on in the Merchant App.

Purpose​

Subscribing to and enabling the Stripe credit card payment add-on is done to start using the Stripe payment integration while satisfying the necessary reviews, publication conditions, and permission conditions, and to operate it according to internal rules.

By proceeding with the procedure after checking the contract conditions and payment methods, you can enable the credit card payment integration feature of DEXTRE under controlled conditions.

Feature Description​

What is Subscribing and Enabling the Stripe Credit Card Payment Integration Add-on​

This is a feature to create an add-on subscription to make the Stripe credit card payment add-on available in DEXTRE.

Prerequisites for Subscription and Enablement​

To subscribe and enable, all of the following conditions must be met.

  • The Stripe application is completed
  • The Charges feature of the connected Stripe account is enabled
  • The Payouts feature of the connected Stripe account is enabled
  • The Act on Specified Commercial Transactions is published
  • The Stripe payment integration add-on is not subscribed

Contract Plans and Payment Methods​

This add-on has the following two contract plans.

  • Free Trial: 30-day free trial
  • Paid Plan: 5,000 JPY per month

The payment methods available at the time of contract are the payment methods configured in the Add-on Subscription.

Permissions of Members Who Can Proceed​

The members who can proceed with the contract procedure are only those with Primary Owner or Owner permissions.

Instructions​

Move to the Add-on Subscription Creation Screen​

  1. Click Maker Settings > Open Maker Settings.
  2. Click Payment Feature.
  3. Click Activate Add-on.
    The "Create Add-on Subscription" modal will open.

How to Fill Out the Form​

  1. Select a Plan
    Select one of the following plans using the radio button.

    • Stripe Credit Card Payment Feature Free Trial
    • Stripe Credit Card Payment Feature Paid Plan

  2. Select Payment Method
    Either "Bank Transfer" or "Credit Card" will be displayed in Current Payment Method.
    It refers to the payment method configured as "Payment Method for Addon Subscription".

    If you want to use a payment method different from the "Current Payment Method", change the payment method from the Edit button.
    Check Payment Method Change Procedure for the change procedure.

  3. Click the Next button and move to the preview screen.

    The next step is Confirm Contract and Enablement.

Payment Method Change Procedure​

  1. Click the Edit button for Current Payment Method.
    The "Update Merchant Billing Information" modal opens.

  2. Select Payment Method
    Select one of the following payment methods with a radio button.

    • Bank Transfer
    • Credit Card
      • If the target credit card is already registered: Select the credit card to use.
      • If the target credit card is not registered:
        Select "Set a New Credit Card" and register the credit card.
        Please check Credit Card Registration Procedure for the registration procedure.

  3. Click the Update button to update the payment method to use.

Credit Card Registration Procedure​

If the credit card you want to use as a payment method is not registered, please register it using the following steps.

  1. In Payment Method Change Procedure, select the radio button for Set a New Credit Card.

  2. Enter the credit card information.

    • Credit Card: Enter the 16-digit card number.
    • Expiration: Enter the expiration date in the MM/YY format.
    • CVC: Enter the 3-4 digit security code listed on the credit card.

  3. When you have finished entering, click the Register button. Credit card registration will be completed.

Confirm Contract and Enablement​

Check the displayed preview content and click Create Add-on Subscription.

If the process is successful, the add-on subscription for the Stripe credit card payment add-on will be created and become available.

Important Notes​

Cannot Subscribe and Enable if Prerequisites are Not Met​

If even one of the prerequisites for subscription and enablement is not met, you cannot execute the subscription and enablement of the add-on.

Continuous Use After the Free Trial Ends​

To continue using the integration feature after the free trial period ends, you need to change to a paid plan.

Billing Timing When Subscribing to Paid Plan​

When you subscribe to a paid plan, the prorated fee for the current month will be calculated and billed immediately at the time of subscription.

Payment Method for Add-on Subscription Cannot be Configured Individually​

The payment method can be changed at the time of contract, but it cannot be configured individually for each add-on.

One payment method is configured for the entire contract classified as Add-on Subscription.
