Buyer Organization General Settings

Overview​

This section explains how to set and manage basic information such as the name and contact information of the buyer organization.

Purpose​

Use this operation to manage the buyer organization's basic information in one place from General Settings.

By organizing the languages used in transactions with brands, contact information, and notification addresses, you can manage the information referenced during transactions and the recipients of notification emails.

Feature Description​

Information that can be managed in the general settings​

In the general settings of the buyer organization, you can set and change the basic information of the buyer organization.

The configurable items include the Enabled Languages used for transactions with brands, Buyer Company/Organization Name, Name of Representative, Email, Email Recipients, Country of this buyer, Phone Number, and Contact Email.

Enabled Languages and multilingual input​

In Enabled Languages, select the language used for transactions with brands.

If multiple languages are selected, the Buyer Company/Organization Name and Name of Representative are entered for each language.

Difference between Email and Email Recipients​

Email is the email address that represents the buyer organization.

Email Recipients are the email addresses that receive notification emails sent from DEXTRE. Notification emails are sent to all registered email addresses.

Notification emails, such as order completion emails, web catalog order links generated by brand-side operations, order confirmations, delivery notes, and invoices, are sent to the addresses registered in Email Recipients.

Before starting this procedure, follow the steps below to open the dashboard for the target buyer organization.

  1. Sign in to the DEXTRE Buyer App.
  2. Click Select for the target buyer organization.

Navigate to the buyer organization's General settings screen​

  1. Click Buyer Settings.
  2. Click the General tab.
    *It is open by default.

How to fill out the form​

Enter the following items in the general settings of the buyer organization.

  1. Enabled Languages
    Set the language to be used in transactions with brands.

    Select the checkbox for each language you want to use.

    • You can select multiple languages.
    • If multiple languages are selected, select the Default Language from the pull-down menu.

  2. Buyer Company/Organization Name
    Enter the company name, trade name, etc.

    • If multiple languages are selected in Enabled Languages, enter it for each language.
    • If you select Copy on a row for a language other than the default language, the content entered for the default language is copied to that language's input field.

  3. Name of Representative
    Enter the name of the representative.

    • If multiple languages are selected in Enabled Languages, enter it for each language.
    • If you select Copy on a row for a language other than the default language, the content entered for the default language is copied to that language's input field.

  4. Email
    Enter the email address representing the buyer organization.

    • You can register multiple email addresses using the Add button.
    • If you register multiple email addresses, register the email address to disclose to brands first.
    • If an email address is no longer needed, click the trash can icon button for that email address. The email address is removed.

  5. Email Recipients
    Enter the email address to receive notification emails from DEXTRE.

    • You can register multiple email addresses using the Add button.
    • If an email address is no longer needed, click the trash can icon button for that email address. The email address is removed.

  6. Country of this buyer
    Select the country of the buyer organization from the pull-down menu.

  7. Phone Number
    Enter the phone number of the buyer organization.

  8. Contact Email
    Enter the contact email address for the buyer organization.

Updating the general settings of the buyer organization​

After reviewing the details, click the Update button.

The settings will be saved.

Important Notes​

Email addresses disclosed to brands​

Even if multiple email addresses are registered in Email, only the first registered email address is currently disclosed to brands.

Where to change the email address for login​

To change the login email address, use the user account settings instead of the buyer organization's General settings.
