Close Your DEXTRE Account
Overview
This section explains how to submit a user account deletion request to close your DEXTRE account.
Purpose
Use this when you want to request deletion of a user account you no longer need in order to close your DEXTRE account.
Submitting a deletion request helps you clean up the account information used in DEXTRE.

About User Accounts
Each email address can have only one DEXTRE user account. You use the same user account to sign in to the buyer app and maker app.
When a user account is deleted, it is removed from the member lists of the buyer and maker organizations it belongs to.
Impact on Buyer and Maker Organizations upon Account Deletion
Deleting a user account will have the following effects, depending on the status of the buyer organization and maker organization you belong to:
- If you are the Primary Owner of a buyer organization, the Primary Owner role is delegated to another member.
- If the buyer organization has only the user account targeted for deletion as a member, the buyer organization is also deleted at the same time.
- If you are the Primary Owner of a maker organization, the deletion request is rejected and the account is not deleted.
What Happens Before User Account Deletion Is Completed
After you submit a user account deletion request, the account is usually deleted within 3 business days.
When the deletion is complete, a notification is sent to the registered email address.
Instructions
Go to the User Account Deletion Request Screen
- Click your Account Name.
- Click User Account Settings.
The "User Account Settings" modal opens. - Click Account deletion.
Submit a User Account Deletion Request

Review the displayed email address and the important notes.

Click the Send account deletion request button.
Your user account deletion request is submitted.
Important Notes
Deleted User Accounts Cannot Be Restored
Once the user account deletion is complete, the deleted user account cannot be restored.
After deletion is complete, you can no longer sign in to DEXTRE with that user account.
Buyer Organizations May Also Be Deleted
A buyer organization whose only member is the user account being deleted is also deleted at the same time.
If a buyer organization is deleted, it cannot be restored. Data held by that organization, such as business relationships with brands and past order data, is lost.
You Can No Longer Sign In to the Maker App
If you use the maker app with the same user account, you can no longer sign in to the maker app after the user account is deleted.
Notification Emails May Still Arrive After Deletion
Even if your user account is deleted, you may still receive notification emails from brands if the same email address is configured for a buyer organization or a brand.
